Q: How can I volunteer?
A: We have numerous volunteer opportunities on race day, Saturday May 5th. All volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt, food and beverages. Please visit our registration link HERE to sign up for course monitors, water station support, parking and start/finish line awards and refreshments.
Q: Where do I pick up my race packet?
A: We have several locations and opportunities to pick up your packet, which includes your event t-shirt and race bib. We suggest you avoid race day delays by picking up your packet at Fleet Feet Sports 354 Merchant Street in Vacaville on Friday May 4th between 4:00pm – 7:00pm. If you cannot make the early packet pick-up, a friend or family member may pick-up for you or you can also pick it up on race day between 7:00am-8:45am.
Q: What time does the race start?
A: The 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Walk starts at 9:00AM.
Q: Where should I park?
A: Free parking is available at the Anheuser-Busch Visitors Center parking lot. Follow the signs to the lot. Please be aware that some sections of Busch Drive and Hale Ranch Road are part of the race course and therefore will be closed.
Q: Do I need to register my child for the 5K or the 1 Mile Walk?
A: If your child is riding in a stroller they do not need to be registered (and will not receive a t-shirt). Everyone else participating in the 5K, 10K or 1 Mile Walk, whether running or walking, must be registered and wearing their bib number.
Q: Is there a course cut off time?
A: There is no time limit to complete the 5K or the 1 Mile Walk. You may run or walk this event and take as long as you want. However, due to permit requirements, we have a 1 hour 35 minute time limit to complete the 10K course. The 10K participant must reach the 1st aid station located at mile 1.5 on the course by the 9:30am cut-off time or you will be escorted off the course. If you cannot continue to due the time limit or injury we offer transportation to take you back to the finish line area.
Q: Will the race be timed?
A: The 5K and 10K will be chip timed and results will be posted at the event starting 10 minutes after the first finisher. Official results will be posted on-line at the event website within 24 hours. Your bib must be worn in a visible location with the chip attached in order to be scored. The 1 Mile walk is an un-timed event
Q: Is the 5K course certified?
A: Yes, the 5K course is USATF certified (CA16045RS).
Q: Can I register at the race?
A: Yes, walk up registration will be available on event day starting at 7:00AM. The registration tents will be located outside on the east side of the event Expo lot. Walk-up registration will also be available on Friday May 4th between 4:00pm-7:00pm at Fleet Feet Sports in Vacaville
Q: Can I run/walk with a baby/jogging stroller or bring my dog?
A: You may choose to run or walk with a jogging stroller, please be aware that you must start at the back of the pack, your child must remained strapped in for the entirety of the race. Yes, friendly dogs are welcome but please consider that some areas will be crowded and restricted due to food safety requirements and this can be stressful for some dogs. For safety reasons, those walking/running with a dog must start in the back of the start group. We appreciate your attention to this policy.
Q: Will there be awards?
A: Yes, prizes will be awarded to the First 3 Male & Female Overall in the 5K and 10K events. Awards are based on gun time. Timing age-groups for the 5K and 10K are: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over.
Q: How do I edit my registration?
A: You can edit your registration at early packet pick-up on Friday May 4th at Fleet Feet Sports between 4:00pm-7:00pm or on race day between 7:00am-8:45am at the pre-registration tent.
Q: Will there be water on the course?
A: There will be one aid station at the 5K turnaround and two aid stations on the 10K course serving water and electrolyte drink. Food and beverages will be available at the finish line
Q: Where do I find the start line?
A: The Start and Finish line is located in the Anheuser-Busch Visitors Center parking lot just west of the main parking area.
Q: Are there finisher medals?
A: YES! Volunteers will be handing out custom finisher medals to those that complete the 5K and 10K course and are wearing their bib number. Only 1 medal per finisher, please.
Q: Will there be a photographer at the finish line?
A: Yes! Our professional sports photographers will capture participants at the finish line. A link for the photos will be available within days of the race.
Q: Do you offer refunds or transfers?
A: Entry fees are non-refundable for non starters and non finishers and we do not offer exchanges. The event will take place rain or shine.
